A pedestrian is in critical condition after a vehicle ran a red light, colliding with a bus and hitting the pedestrian in Milwaukee.

A serious crash involving a bus, a car, and a pedestrian in Milwaukee has left one person fighting for their life.

According to Milwaukee police, the crash happened around 11 p.m. Friday at the intersection of St. Paul Avenue and 26th Street.

A vehicle traveling east on St. Paul Avenue ran a red light and collided with a northbound bus on 26th Street. The impact caused the first vehicle to strike a pedestrian.

The unidentified pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car that ran the red light was also taken to the hospital but with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are continuing their investigation into the crash.
